Publication

The Greenery : Volume-7

Self Help Environment Awaerness Camp (SHEAC) has published The Greenery: Volume- 7 in the support of Partnership for Rhino Conservation and MeMcoe/Institute of Forestry. Volume has emphasized CLIMATE CHANGE and Rhinoceros unicornis related articles.

This is our regular  and coordination activities with nature loving students and professionals. PARC has expected that this will surely helpful to concerned individuals and aware people to make actions for nature/environment conservation.

Education Material Production

In the support of Nagao Natural Environment Foundation, PARC has produced 150 dozens of education material with the message of rhino conservation. The main objective of production is to disseminate the conservation message and support poor students for their education.

Conservation Education Presentation

PARC has developed "Conservation Education Presentation" in order to train young conservationist and students. The main purpose of development are "How to Organize Conservation Education?, What activities can be made as Consevation Education? & How to evaluate the effectiveness of Conservation Education".

The presentation was presented for the "Rhino Consevation and Bird Conservation".

The Powerpoint in pdf; file was available by mailing to parc@rhinonepal.org & sumancha004@yahoo.com

(The template of five rhino species was adopted from IRF and last writ was adopted from Bijaya Shrestha / Dolphin Conservation, Far western Nepal)

Pamphlet

To appeal communities for their meaningful hands on conservation. Pamphlets, appealing to be a partner of PARC for rhino conservation and to hear the request of poor rhino “Let Me Live, I Want to Leave, I am Also Living Creature as You” was published and displayed in the different areas. The pamphlets are also distributed to the schools, community forest user groups, buffer-zone user groups and different concerned organizations.

Education Material

To encourage poor families for their children’s schooling. PARC focuses and believes on poor students, women and youth oriented activities for conservation. We found till there are such of poor people who are unable to afford their children’s schooling education material.

Therefore, PARC, in the joint Venture of Crocodile Conservation Awareness Project (CCAP), RSG-projects based in the same working area, had published exercise-copies with the message of conservation importance in front and back pages. PARC aimed that these copies and pencils are distributed for the students from the poor family background who are especially more dependent on the natural resources of the Park and/or its surroundings.

Poster

To explore; why is it necessary to conserve rhino. PARC, in the joint venture of Biodiversity Conservation and Research Forum (BICORF Nepal), Self Help Environment Awareness Camp (SHEAC Nepal) and The Rufford Maurice Laing Foundation (UK), published a poster with information, “Lets Put Hand to Conservation, Rhino Wants to Live for Us and Our Future Generation” & Keep Rhino’s existence FOR Ecosystem Balance, Tourism Development, Community Development, Future Generation.
And the poster emphasized statement “If One Species Disappears, Other’s Life is Impossible; So, Respect Every Creature’s Living Rights in This Common Home”.

This poster was published in the back cover page of “The Greenery”: Annual Journal of Environment and Biodiversity, SHEAC (sheac_iof@yahoo.com), Nepal.
