Biodiversity conservation is a matter of human existence. We, human, are the part of the ecosystem so that we must consider it our noble duty to conserve biodiversity. It is blunt truth that “ecology is the sine qua non to survival of human race” thus human’s survival mostly depends on healthy ecosystem.

In these years, the existence of rhino, part of ecosystem, is in the verge of extinction. Being conscious living creature, our aspiration and perspiration should be towards nature and ecosystem conservation instead of taking only benefits. By realizing this seriousness, we felt to act for rhino conservation from our side and formed a group “Partnership for Rhino Conservation”.

In this regards, it is my pleasure to voice that PARC is being able to make a little contribution on rhino and nature conservation by creating awareness and promoting children’s education. Initially, PARC dealt only with Rhino conservation but now with changing time period PARC has brodened itself upto the Biodiversity Conservation.

PARC has been working in buffer-zone area of Chitwan National Park since February 2007. I hope this student level initiation will be helpful to professionals, trainers, fieldworkers, and nature lover as reference in forest, environment and biodiversity conservation.

I am grateful to young children, students, our local supporters, donors and members whose contributions have made our thought successful. I like to remember Rufford Small Grant Project, UK & Biodiversity Conservation and Research Forum-BICORF/Nepal because their contribution has dragged our initiation up to this stage.

Lastly, I like to appeal individuals, organizations, donors to put hands for rhino conservation and make sound environment for every living beings to keep their ecosystem healthy.
